Hall-effect LED drivers integrate a linear constant current driver with an omnipolar magnetic switch for contactless lighting control. Detection of either magnetic pole can automatically turn the LED on or off, eliminating the need for mechanical-switch contacts or a host MCU. Programmable LED current, ultra-low standby power, selectable Hall switch polarity, and gamma corrected fade in and fade out enable illumination for vanity mirrors, glove boxes, trunk lights, door lamps, and other position-activated lighting applications.
