HBLED™ devices are a Lumissil defined class of high current LED drivers and controllers for high brightness lighting applications. HBLED matrix controllers integrate floating NMOS bypass switches that independently control individual LEDs or LED segments within one or more series connected strings. By selectively shunting the externally regulated LED string current around each LED segment, these devices provide individual on/off and PWM dimming control without requiring a separate current regulator for every LED. This architecture enables precise beam shaping, pixel-level dimming, and dynamic lighting patterns for applications such as adaptive driving beam headlamps, animated daytime running lights, and other high-brightness matrix lighting systems.
