DC/DC (POL)
These are a family of point of load (POL) regulators which are compact switching converters placed close to the circuits they power, including MCUs, processors, LED drivers, and sensors. By converting the system supply to a tightly regulated local voltage near the load, they improve efficiency, transient response, voltage accuracy, and thermal performance while reducing PCB distribution losses. Careful layout and filtering help minimize switching noise and EMI.
